New England enjoys bumper crop of apples

Local farmers say we’re in the midst of a bumper crop of apples around New England.

Apple picking season is here, making it the perfect time of year to grab the family for a day of picking fun, and while you’re at it, visit some farm animals, take a hayride and more.

It’s strawberry season so grab the family and head on out to one of dozens of local farms across the region and pick your own. While you’re at it stop into a strawberry festival or two and really celebrate the season.
