Authorities have arrested a 23-year-old man in the fatal shooting of two people and wounding of two others at a Nebraska fast food restaurant.

Three Sonic employees were arrested after a family found ecstasy pills Thursday night in a child’s burger in Taylor, 34 miles outside Austin.

Sonic Drive-In opened a new restaurant in Warwick, Rhode Island on Friday. The new location on the northbound side of Route 2 opened at 2 p.m., according to WJAR.

Almost a year has passed since the Nov. 5, 2017, shooting in this town southeast of San Antonio, a rural place anchored by the small church. The congregation, led by pastor Frank Pomeroy, 52, and his wife, Sherri, 49, has turned the sanctuary into a memorial while a larger church is being built next door.

Arby’s owner Inspire Brands is buying the Sonic drive-in hamburger chain. Inspire is paying $43.50 per share cash, or $2.3 billion, for Sonic, which has 3,600 restaurants in the U.S. Inspire expects the deal to close by the end of this year.
