She was a powerhouse…a singer and dancer and one of those performers known by just her first name. It’s been 15 years since she retired from the stage but she’s still inspiring young musicians to this day, including at the Berklee College of Music in Boston.

Tributes from fans and celebrities alike poured in Wednesday following news of the death of Tina Turner’s death. She was 83.

The “Queen of Rock n’ Roll” died at her home in Switzerland.
