Beach Days Past Us This Week

Rain will sweep in until Friday

Yesterday was our beach day of the week; from this point forward, our weather will remain unsettled through Friday. Multiple rounds of rain will be possible. There is a stationary front nearby. Even though it’s called a stationary front, there are constant undulations in its position.

Temperatures will remain steady throughout the week. We can expect high temperatures to range from the low to mid 70s.

By Friday it’s possible that some parts of New England may see up to three inches of rain. Where the heaviest rain will fall is still in question. Over the last 48 hours, models have shown the axis across southern New England while other show it across northern New England. Wherever we see the heaviest rain fall, it’s possible that we could see some minor flooding. It's astronomical that summer kicks off on Friday.

We are a little more hopeful for a dry weekend. Temperatures could approach 80 degrees. There are shower chances, but it doesn’t look like we will see a soaking rain either day.

The following week is increasingly humid and warmer. High temperatures will range from the upper 70s to the low 80s. Showers and thunderstorms will also be possible throughout the week.
