Brisk, Beautiful Start to Weekend

You should expect Saturday to be a beautiful start to the weekend.

High temperatures will climb into the upper 50s and low 60s across most of central and southern New England.

Clouds will increase late in the day, and there could be a couple of showers in northern New England by sunset.

That cold front moves in overnight and could bring a round of showers for all areas.

By Sunday morning, temperatures drop and the clouds clear out. High temperatures will reach the middle 40s during the afternoon.

There will be similar temperatures on Monday and Tuesday with a mixture of sun and clouds. It could be a rather cold Monday night with temperatures in the upper 20s.

On Wednesday, you should expect another warm up with highs in the middle 50s, but that is short-lived.

We will be back to average on Thursday with highs in the upper 40s.

A stretch of unsettled weather is possible Thursday night through Saturday morning. At this point we’re not expecting any heavy rain, but showers are possible.

The temperature is holding to the mid and upper 40s, which is average for this time of year. No arctic air is on the horizon.
