The wind continues to slowly diminish this evening. We stay breezy and that means the wind chill will be an issue tonight into Wednesday morning.

Lows bottom out in the single digits across northern New England, to upper teens and low 20s south. Real-feel temperatures will run between -30 and -10 across the North Country, and around zero in Boston. Highs Wednesday will only be in the 20s as clouds increase ahead of our next snow maker.

A quick-moving clipper moves in from the Great Lakes Wednesday night through Thursday morning. The snow exits New England by Thursday afternoon. About 2-5 inches of widespread accumulation is what we anticipate with this round of snow.

Temperatures will be in the 20s, teens farther north, so this means a fluffier snow consistency. There is a sharp cutoff once you reach central Vermont, New Hampshire and Downeast Maine.

Temperatures remain in the 30s throughout most of the 10-day forecast. It's a very winter-like start to meteorological spring, which begins March 1.

The weak wave of a wintry mix that we saw yesterday, for Friday, is not showing up on models as of today. So Friday may turn out to be dry with highs in the mid-30s. Saturday into Sunday we have a larger system that will be mostly rain across southern New England, mix to the north.

More disturbances pass south of us next week. The track and timing on anything moving through is inconsistent, but we keep a chance for some precipitation in Monday through Thursday. Stay tuned!
