Light Monday Snow Expected to Melt; Cold Front on Way Mid-Week

Snow is likely this morning but accumulations will be minor. Most of the snow will accumulate on grassy surfaces.

If the snow comes down hard enough, there could be a few slick spots during the morning commute. After noontime, the snow will move out and the sunshine should return. Even if we see an inch or two of accumulation, the snow will melt by afternoon with temperatures climbing into the 40s.

Tomorrow a warm front will lift in from the south. Showers are likely with mostly cloudy skies. Temperatures will reach the upper 40s. It gets even warmer Tuesday night as temperatures continue to climb. Wednesday will be warm with highs around 60 degrees. Although showers are possible on Wednesday, we are still expecting some dry time as well.

A cold front moves through Wednesday night. We will dry out and clear out. For the home opener, it will be mainly dry but it will be rather chilly. Temperatures will be stuck in the 40s. At the rate we’re going this spring, I guess it’s positive that it won’t be snowing!

Next weekend brings another round of interesting weather with a coastal storm possible. It’s still too early to get into the exact timing, track, and intensity, but there will be a storm nearby. Some of the forecast models are hinting at another round of accumulating snow for parts of New England.
