The spotty showers and clouds that develop in the heat of the day and along a weak cold front, will continue to disappear after sunset. A clear and breezy night will bring lows again in the 40s north, and 50s south.

Saturday afternoon we will have a gorgeous summer day! Highs in the low 80s thanks to the southwest breeze and mostly sunny skies, but a chance for scattered showers across the North Country as a cold front slowly sinks south.

By Father’s Day the front will nudge father south, and may stall across southern New England Sunday night into Monday.

This means we have scattered showers and maybe a thunderstorm in for Sunday. The most likely time for rain will be in the morning, then again scattered rain in the late afternoon. There is still some uncertainty on the timing, so keep an eye to the sky, or check the radar if you have outdoor plans with dad. Aside from the shower chance, Sunday will bring more humidity and highs around 80.

Our weather pattern remains unsettled as the jet streams settles in across the northeast. This will help to steer several disturbances across the northeast, bringing us a daily chance for showers and, or storms through at least the end of the week. No washouts so far, but stay tuned to any updates. High temperatures will be in the 70s to low 80s all week into the next weekend. South of the boundary, more heat and humidity, while north of the front it will be a tad cooler and drier.
