Sunny and Cool November Weekend Ahead

New England communities continue to clean up from storm damage overnight as powerful wind took over Halloween night. We remained gusty all day as the wind changed direction and this helped to bring in drier and cooler air from the west.

The wind also contributed to tons of leaf drop, pushing many areas past peak. Tonight the wind will slowly subside and our lows drop to the 20s north and the 30s south, so expect a frosty start to the weekend.

Highs on Saturday will be in the 40s to 50s with full sun for most and clouds for southeastern Massachusetts.

Sunday will bring us mixed weather depending on where you are in the northeast. A low pressure system passes south of us offshore and brings in a few showers and clouds to southeastern New England Sunday morning, then clearing in the afternoon.

An upper level low spins in a few rain and snow showers to northern New England Sunday morning through afternoon.

Next week will be very seasonable with highs in the 50s for most of the week.

Tuesday we may reach 60, but then cool off to the 50s by Wednesday after rain moves through south and snow moves through areas north.

Colder air continues to settle in for the end for the week and next weekend with highs in the 40s and lows in the 20s by next weekend.
