Unsettled Weather, Showers Returning to Region Soon

Sunshine will return and temperatures will climb into the mid-70s on Monday. With the sunshine and dry weather, it looks to be the only good beach day of the week.

Forecast models are still hinting at multiple rounds of rain, however. By the end of the week, areas south of Route 2 in Massachusetts could see up to as much as 4 inches of rain! It’s still too early to tell if we will see any flooding, but minor river flooding is possible.

Tuesday and Wednesday mornings look unsettled. Currently, it appears most of the rain will fall in southern New England. A better chance for widespread rain coming up for Friday. Temperatures will stay in the low-to-mid-70s for much of the week.

By the weekend, shower chances begin to decrease and we should see some drier weather return. Temperatures will get a nice bump up to 80 degrees by then as well.
