We enjoyed a little sun today with milder temperatures. Still running below average, but we made some progress into the 50s for most.

Another wave of low pressure moves in tonight through tomorrow and will trigger spotty showers and sprinkles Thursday morning. By afternoon, some showers pop up and there is a slight chance for a storm. Highs improve to the low 60s with breaks in the rain.

Another low pressure system passes northwest of New England on Friday. First a warm front lifts in rain from the south in the morning, then scattered rain will remain in the forecast through Friday night as the cold front eventually moves through. There is a slim risk for a thunderstorm with this system across southern New England. Highs will be in the low 60s despite the cloud cover and rain chances.

Saturday we will be sunny and warm with highs in the low 70s along with afternoon seabreezes. Sunday begins dry, but a frontal boundary may nudge its way towards New England by late afternoon and evening. We are still expecting highs to near 70 degrees with more clouds and most of the day should stay dry.

Unsettled is the continued theme next week. Rounds of rain Monday through at least Wednesday look likely. After some jet stream ridging over the weekend, the jet may sink south and land right over us. That's where the forecast could really get tricky. Question is will be we south or north of that boundary? Stay tuned to further updates.
