Warmer Temperatures and Scattered Showers Move Into Region

Our temperature swings continue this week. We swing back to warmer temperatures on Thursday just before a cold front moves in.

The wind will pick up from the south, southwest and will carry in some more humid air across southern New England. Highs will be around 80 degrees across southern New England, and highs in the low 70s across northern New England with more clouds. The scattered rain moves in during the afternoon into the early evening and will quickly move out by late Thursday evening.

Highs will return to the mid-70s on Friday with less humid air and full sunshine.

This weekend we have another warm up in the low 80s Saturday. A quick cold front brings scattered showers in Saturday night into Sunday morning.

We cool off and dry out on Sunday with highs in the low 70s.

More crisp and cool air filters in for Monday as highs only reach the upper 60s. Then warmth begins to build for next week Tuesday through early Thursday. The peak seems to be on Wednesday with highs in the low 80s. Off and on waves of rain move through during this time frame too.

A strong jet stream will dig across the northeast by the end of next week, bringing our temperatures crashing to the 60s and possibly the 50s. Stay tuned.
