After some rain and snow showers on New Year’s Eve, sunshine is working back in on New Year’s Day.
Highs will climb into the 30s and 40s, making it beautiful for holiday skiing after all of that snow New England saw a few days ago.
Monday will be another pleasant day with highs still around 40, but clouds will increase during the day. Rain will arrive very late in the day and Monday night, with even more rain ahead on Tuesday. That will be paired with a gusty wind, and temperatures climbing into the 40s.
Some wintry mix is possible in far Northern New England with this next system, but this certainly looks more wet than white.
The storm will depart on Wednesday, ushering a much cooler air mass for late week and next week. Highs by then will only be in the 20s and 30s.
