A fire broke out on Thursday morning in Cambridge, Massachusetts, leading to two people being rushed to the hospital.
The fire was at an apartment complex on Garden Street, which at least 16 people have been displaced from.
The Cambridge Fire Department confirmed it was working to put out the flames at around 7 a.m., with the department's chief saying that two civilians were rushed to the hospital — one with burns.
“One male victim has significant burns, at least 2nd degree burns to a good portion of his body, another victim that was taken out of the building that has a serious laceration to his head," Fire Chief Tom Cahill said.

Fire officials said the flames started on the first floor, but it's not yet clear what sparked them.
“You see this stuff on TV and you think how I would I handle it? Well I found out today," Diana Koulalis-Karatza said, who escaped with important belongings like her late husband's ashes, a teddy bear he gave her and her wallet. "I don’t even know how I got out to be perfectly honest... “You could taste and feel the burning of the smoke.”
The building is not being called a total loss, but it's unclear when it will be fixed.
