Marlborough Drugmaker to Lay Off 360 Employees

Sunovion Pharmaceuticals Inc., a Marlborough-based subsidiary of Japanese drugmaker Sumitomo Dainippon Pharma Co. Ltd., will lay off 360 employees come January.

That's according to a notice the company filed with the state in order to comply with the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Act. The cuts are expected to take place on Jan. 13.
