NBC10 Boston Responds: Protecting Your Online Game Access

Online thieves are targeting gamer accounts and in some cases taking them over. Someone stole 13-year-old Jacob’s Xbox Live password last year and then he was denied access to dozens of online games he paid for with gift cards. NBC Responds reached out to Microsoft, which operates Xbox Live, to see if they could take another look at Jacob’s account after continuous attacks.
