The Activist Behind the First Black Trans-Owned Housing Community in NYC Is Giving LGBTQ Youth a Place to Call Home

One in five transgender people have experienced homelessness in their lives. Ceyenne Doroshow is the founder of G.L.I.T.S., an advocacy organization that opened the first Black trans-owned housing community in New York City. Doroshow talked to NBCLX’s Ngozi Ekeledo about why it’s so important to give trans youth a place to call home.
