Pine Street Inn Graduation Ceremony Marks a Win After Lifetime of Challenges for Many

Some of the Pine Street Inn graduates had been waiting two years for this moment — as ceremonies were delayed because of the coronavirus pandemic. The graduates, who have all experienced homelessness, range in age from 30 to 70. For many, it’s a win after a lifetime of challenges, with each overcoming their own struggles to being a new chapter in their lives. Taisha O’Bryant shared her story on stage, saying she ran away from a troubled home at a young age and was living on the street until she became a mother.
