Towns Seeing Uptick in Passionate Candidates for School Committees

It’s the season for many school committees around the state to hold elections and many cities and towns are seeing an uptick in candidates who feel passionately about particular issues that span the political spectrum. Public education expert John Connolly says it is a trend around the country where – what used to be considered national culture war issues are starting to divide local communities.
