New COVID-19 Study Shows Virus Can Still Spread With 6-Feet of Social Distance

The results of the study, published last week in the Journal of Korean Medical Science, raise concerns that the widely accepted standard of six feet of social distance may not be far enough to keep people safe when it comes to the spread of COVID-19. KJ Seung, an infectious disease expert in Massachusetts, says there’s a real misconception in the public that if someone isn’t a close contact, they will “magically be protected.”
