A firefighter was taken to the hospital after a house fire in Brockton. The status of the firefighter’s wellbeing is currently unknown. There was no one home during the house fire, and the cause of it remains under investigation.
The Brockton Fire Department responded to a fire in Brockton, Massachusetts early Sunday morning.
According to authorities, the fire at 129 Highland St. has now been extinguished. The home was unoccupied at the time of fire.
One firefighter was transported to the hospital for evaluation, said officials.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
