4-Year-Old Girl Pulled Unconscious From RI Hotel Pool

Program will focus on inmates at Worcester House of Correction who are determined to have highest risk of re-offending once they’re released from jail

Authorities responded to the possible drowning of a 4-year-old girl at a hotel in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, Friday night, according to NBC affiliate WJAR.

The child was pulled unconscious and unresponsive from an indoor pool at the Hampton Inn at 2 George St., fire officials told the station.

The Pawtucket Police Department is investigating.
