Five Shark Sightings in Cape Cod
A total of five shark sightings occurred in Cape Cod Sunday.
The Atlantic White Shark Conservancy reported two sharks were spotted at Marconi Beach in Wellfleet at 10:30 p.m. Two more were sighted at Ballston Beach in Truro at 11:30 a.m.
At,12:30 p.m., a shark was seen swimming in Chatham Harbor.
There was a shark scare off South Beach in Edgartown late Sunday afternoon according to the Dukes County Sheriff’s Office. Witnesses say lifeguards blew horns to evacuate swimmers from the water.
