Hundreds Gather at Massachusetts High School Cafeteria to Eat on Thanksgiving

Five hundred people didn’t have to eat alone this Thanksgiving, thanks to the Bread of Life organization, when the cafeteria at Malden High School became a restaurant for people who needed a place to eat. The volunteers put in overtime, fedding 600 more people who couldn’t make it to the high school. Both young and old helped fill boxes, then hopped in vehicles and dropped off warm plates of food around the North Shore, getting a chance to give back before gathering around their own dinner tables. Glenn Marshall reports on this incredible act of love and generosity on a day of thanks.
