Police Warn of Aggressive Coyote in Brookline, Massachusetts

Residents are urged to avoid the animal and call 911

Residents have been asked to stay clear of coyote that was spotted in Greenough Street in Brookline today

Police in Brookline, Massachusetts are warning residents to stay away from an aggressive coyote.

According to Brookline Police, the coyote charged at a detail officer at Washington and Park streets around 11:30 a.m.

Massachusetts Environmental Police have been called to the scene.

Police said the coyote was spotted around 1:15 p.m. in the area of Washington and Greenough streets. Officers are now searching that area.

Residents are warned to avoid the coyote and call 911 if they see it. Students are urged to travel in groups when school lets out.
