Arizona Man Arrested at Logan for Attempting to Transport Meth

An Arizona man was arraigned in East Boston Municipal Court on Monday for allegedly bringing a pound of crystal methamphetamine to Logan Airport this weekend.

An Arizona man was arraigned in East Boston Municipal Court on Monday for allegedly bringing a pound of crystal methamphetamine to Logan Airport this weekend.

The Suffolk District Attorney's Office confirms that Micah Gibson of Phoenix was arraigned on one count of trafficking more than 200 grams of methamphetamine. Gibson is held on $75,000 bail and must surrender his passport and wear a GPS monitor if he is released.

According to prosecutors, Massachusetts State Police identified Gibson as part of an on-going investigation into the transport of large quantities of methamphetamine from Phoenix to Boston.

Gibson will appear in court again on July 27.
