If you’re heading into Boston this weekend, odds are you’ll see some colorful characters joining you around the city as thousands of people are getting in the spirit for Boston Fan Expo 2018, formerly known as Comic-Con.

Friday night's big headline is that the cast of "Back to the Future" is at the expo, including Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd and Lea Thompson. Fans of all ages were lined up to meet them, including one father and son who lined up early for Lloyd.
At the expo, you can get up close and personal with your favorite stars and you can also dress like your favorite characters.
The event is a haven for collectors who can find countless booths filled with memorabilia, toys and posters.
The expo is being held Aug. 10-12 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.
