New Surveillance Image Released in CVS Armed Robbery Investigation

Investigators say the male suspect pointed a gun at several CVS pharmacy employees during the robbery before getting away with an undisclosed amount of prescription medication

Authorities in Massachusetts have released a new surveillance image in connection with an ongoing investigation into an armed robbery at a CVS pharmacy last month.

Quincy police released a photo of a vehicle, believed to be a Jeep SUV, leaving the scene on Beale Street on Feb. 21 that may have been involved in the armed robbery, calling the blue color of the vehicle "rather unique."

Investigators say the male suspect pointed a gun at several CVS pharmacy employees during the robbery before getting away with an undisclosed amount of prescription medication.

Fortunately, no one was injured in the armed robbery.

In surveillance images previously released by police, the suspect wore a dark green or olive-colored jacket with a hood, covered his mouth with a black scarf or mask and his eyes with dark sunglasses.

Anyone with information on the car believed to be involved or the armed robbery suspect is asked to call Quincy Police Det. James Menz at 617-745-5768.
