Authorities are investigating reports that lasers were aimed at a small plane over North Andover, Massachusetts.
The Federal Aviation Administration said a pilot reported seeing two blue lasers illuminate a Cessna C182 while it was in the air about seven miles from Lawrence Municipal Airport.
The incident happened around 8:45 p.m. after the aircraft departed from Portland, Maine, heading for New Bedford, Massachusetts.
No injuries were reported, the FAA said.
State police were notified and the FAA is investigating.
