Forecast: Severe weather to wind down for pre-hurricane lull

Wednesday evening: eastern showers & downpours, temperatures dropping to the upper & mid 60s. Overnight Wednesday night: Rain east, patchy fog. Lows around 60 by dawn. Thursday: Early AM shower southeast, otherwise becoming sunny, much less humid. Highs in the 70s. Friday: A veil of clouds ahead of Hurricane Lee. Increasing coastal waves. Highs 65-70.
