Man Killed in NH Police-Involved Shooting Identified

Law enforcement officials have identified a man who was killed in an officer-involved shooting in Belmont, New Hampshire.

Officials say 45-year-old Michael Sheehan II of Northfield was shot by police at 11:40 p.m. Saturday. It's being investigated by the attorney general's office and the state police major crimes unit.

An autopsy conducted Sunday determined Sheehan died from multiple gunshot wounds. The manner of death was determined to be homicide.

The incident unfolded late Saturday on the South Road in Belmont.
