Boston police are investigating what they call the city’s 54th murder of the year in Mattapan.
A male victim was killed in a shooting Monday night in Boston's Mattapan neighborhood.
Police confirm the shooting took place around 10 p.m. on Savannah Avenue. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Boston Police homicide unit is investigating.
Police say this was the 54th homicide of the year in the city.
