It's official: Needham will ban all flavors of cigarettes and e-cigarettes.
The town's Board of Health voted to ban the sale of flavored cigarettes and e-cigarettes on Friday morning. The vote was unanimous among all three board members.
Town officials said the move will help cut down on underage smoking, but business owners countered that the ban could cost them up to $12,000 each week.
The ban takes effect on July 1.
