Authorities located the body on Middle Route in Gilmanton, New Hampshire, on Saturday.
New Hampshire State Police have identified the man whose body was found on a road in Gilmanton.
Authorities positively identified the man as 52-year-old Leonard W. Mccassie Jr., of Laconia, after completing an autopsy Sunday.
The official cause of death is pending further investigation.
Multiple authorities responded Saturday to a report of a body that had been located on Middle Route.
