A pedestrian was struck and killed by a commuter rail train early Friday morning on Conant St. in Concord, Massachusetts.

A person died after being struck by an MBTA commuter rail train late Thursday in Concord, Massachusetts, officials say.

Authorities responded to the scene at the Conant Street crossing around 11:30 p.m. Police said a male around 18 years old was trespassing when he was struck by a train travelling on Track 1. He was pronounced dead from the injuries he sustained.

Transit police say foul play was not suspected.

The man's name had not been released.

An investigation into the incident was ongoing.
