Authorities are investigating the fatal shooting that occurred Thursday night on Ash Street.
A man was shot and killed late Thursday night in Brockton, Massachusetts, authorities announced.
Very little information has been released at this time, but the Plymouth County District Attorney's Office said Friday morning they are investigating the fatal shooting, along with Massachusetts State Police and Brockton police.
Brockton police confirmed a man was shot outside a home on Ash Street, near Spring Street, around 11:15 p.m.
Investigators on scene overnight appeared to focus their efforts on an area near a van outside a house. The scene was cleared Friday morning.

There was no immediate word on any possible suspects. No arrests have been made.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
