Scattered Showers and Storms Continue Today

The main threat will be for heavy rain and localized flash flooding on Saturday afternoon

Today (Saturday): Scattered showers and thunder. Highs in the 80s. Tonight: Showers end late. Mostly cloudy. Lows in the 60s. Sunday: Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers south. Highs in the 70s.

This weekend actually looks very similar to last weekend. That means it will be rather dull with lots of clouds, but there will be plenty of dry hours to be outside.

After a few morning showers or downpours around New England on Saturday, the best chance of rain mid to late morning will be in Northern New England.

During the afternoon, highs will reach the 70s and 80s with the risk of a storm becoming highest south of Boston as a cold front drops through New England.

Sunday will also be mostly cloudy, but cooler thanks to a stiff wind coming in off the water. Highs will only be in the 70s.

A few spot showers or a little drizzle will be possible right along the South Coast, Cape and Islands in particular, but most will be dry.

Monday is similarly cool and mostly cloudy with a touch of drizzle or a spot shower, especially south.

We warm and turn brighter by Tuesday.
