Calmer Weather and Even Some Sun on the Way for Sunday

Saturday Night: Rain diminishing to showers south, snow changing to rain well north. Temperatures rise into the 50s south, 40s north. Wind shifting in from the south and diminishing rapidly. Sunday: Mostly sunny south, near 60. Partial clearing north, 40s and 50s. Wind from the southwest 5-15 mph. Monday: Showers likely, high in the 50s.

Sunday morning will still bring showers, especially to Northern New England. By afternoon skies will be mostly cloudy, but we’ll have plenty of dry times and even some breaks of sun.

A separate system brings more showers on Monday, before we dry out Tuesday into Halloween.

Our next system brings the risk of rain back Halloween night in far Northern New England, and late week for the rest of us. By then temperatures will be topping out in the 50s to near 60, a bit above average.
