These Bruins, Blues Players Have Waited Longest for Stanley Cup Moment

Goals win games and these Boston Bruins players have scored the most during their careers.

One of the coolest moments of every Stanley Cup Final celebration is watching veterans who've waited a long time to hoist the greatest trophy in sports finally get the opportunity.

The most obvious example is Ray Bourque, who waited 22 years before lifting the Stanley Cup with the Colorado Avalanche in 2001. It's easily one of the greatest moments in NHL history.

The Boston Bruins and St. Louis Blues will meet in the 2019 Stanley Cup Final, which begins Memorial Day evening at TD Garden. Both teams have multiple veterans who have endured a long wait to hoist the Stanley Cup.

With that in mind, let's take a look at the Stanley Cup droughts that could end over the next few weeks. These players are hoping for their own Ray Bourque moment.
