Massachusetts authorities say a man who stabbed his parents during a family gathering at a local restaurant over the weekend is also expected to face charges in connection with his girlfriend’s murder.
Transit police are investigating after shots were fired outside the MBTA Blue Line's Aquarium station Sunday night.
Officers responded to the scene after they received a call of shots fired at 9:50 p.m., according to Transit police. A preliminary investigation determined several teenage boys were involved in an "unknown disturbance" on an inbound Blue Line train.
That disturbance continued and spewed onto the platform of the Aquarium station, where at least two shots were fired from what police said was a caliber handgun.
Authorities said no one was struck by the bullets, but the investigation shut down the station. It is unclear what caused the disturbance and a description of the gunman was not immediately clear.
The investigation remains ongoing and regularly scheduled service of the MBTA Blue Line will resume Monday morning.
