Rep. Bass Confronts AG Barr Over Treatment of White Mass Murderers

Rep. Karen Bass, D-Calif., confronted Attorney General William Barr during a hearing on Tuesday on the conflicting and unequal response by law enforcement to suspects based on their race. “The department is not doing enough to address issues of racism, bias and brutality in law enforcement, when someone who commits mass murder is calmly arrested and served Burger King while a young man walking down the street is placed in a chokehold, injected with ketamine and then dies,” Bass said.
