Polls Show Baker, Walsh Ahead in Respective Races

Two big political races in Massachusetts are coming up – the Boston mayoral race this fall and the gubernatorial race in 2018. According to a new WBUR-Mass. Inc. poll, Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker would beat all declared opponents in a head to head match up. The same poll shows the Baker has a 12 point lead over Attorney General Maura Healey, who has said she doesn’t intent to run for office. NBC Boston’s Alison King takes a look at the poll, including a recent survey that has Boston Mayor Marty Walsh ahead of his challenger, City Councilor Tito Jackson.
