Senate Votes to Subpoena Witnesses in Impeachment Trial

The United States Senate has voted to allow for the subpoena of witnesses in the impeachment trial of Donald Trump. The 55-45 vote came after House Impeachment Manager Jamie Raskin, D-Md. says he wanted to call Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler (R-WA) as a witness for her information about a phone call between President Donald Trump and House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., during the Capitol riot.
