Team USA's Sakura Kokumai on Karate's Stepping Out on the World's Biggest Stage in Tokyo

Hawaii native Sakura Kokumai is one of Team USA’s four karate athletes. She had just finished her master’s degree in Tokyo when she found out that karate would be an Olympic sport in the 2020 Games.
