UMass Lowell Athletes Have Strong Friendship After Tragedy

A lasting friendship emerged from a tragedy for two UMass Lowell lacrosse players who were injured in a moped accident. Students Noelle Lambert and Kelly Moran were injured when they were traveling in a moped and were involved in a crash with a dump truck in July of 2016. Lambert lost her leg and Moran endured multiple surgeries. Now, the two seniors are teammates, roommates and the best of friends.
