All New Orange and Red Line Trains Out of Service Due to ‘Battery Failure'

The MBTA says it has pulled all new Orange and Red line train cars out of service due to a “battery failure.” The agency say T riders should not see any impact on service. Still, this is yet another issue for the embattled MBTA and isn’t much of a surprise to riders.
