Saturday Night: Light snow and flurries turn to a period of heavy snow toward midnight. Switch to ice and rain by morning. Temps steady in the 20s to low 30s. East/northeast wind. Generally 3-6” of snow. Sunday: A mess! Ice and periods of heavy rain. Temps rise to the 20s northwest, 30s in Boston, 50s on Cape Cod. Gusty winds on Cape Cod. Sunday Night: All areas that jumped above freezing will have a flash freeze as temps plummet to the 20s, then teens by morning. Late clearing with gusty winds. Sub zero wind chills by Monday morning.
