Deadly Shooting, Stabbing Mark Violent Start to 2019

It was a violent start to 2019 for Boston. The city’s first homicide of the new year happened in Dorchester overnight when a man in his 30s was shot and killed on Johnston Road. A few hours later, a woman in her 20s was stabbed on Clarkson Street.
