Gaps in Nursing Home PPE Supply

A study by the U.S. Public Interest Research Group found that 8% of nursing homes nationwide were at risk due to shortages of at least one type of Personal Protective Equipment, including masks, gowns and hand sanitizer. For a week in August, one in 10 nursing homes in Massachusetts had less than a week supply of PPE or none at all.
