‘Vital Part of Our Community': Kennebunkport, Maine Remembers Barbara Bush

The news of Barbara Bush dying was not unexpected, but it was still very difficult to hear for many in Kennebunkport, Maine who were left heartbroken Tuesday night. Waitress Delaney Seavey says Mrs. Bush was so kind when she served her ravioli and bourbon last summer and that she was someone who was so special around their Maine town. For many in Kennebunkport, Mrs. Bush was more than a former first lady. She was a friend. Another Kennebunk resident said they were all feeling a tremendous loss, after losing someone who was a vital part of the community.
